Action around every corner: humans suddenly shifting into dragons; dragons taking flight; war; kidnappings; and family dynamics. This book seems to have a nice mix of good and bad and pride and selflessness.

Blue Fire: reviewed by Lila

Angela Castle’s Blue Fire is a fabulous short novel that had me entertained the whole way through. Jane is a normal Earth woman who has never been considered for the cover of a skinny model magazine and her self-worth is lacking. Drystan’s attraction to her though is powerful and stunning. I love a story about a normal woman and a hot man falling in love. The ending is utterly fabulous and there are humorous moments that Ms. Castle throws in that just make the reader laugh out loud. This is one author I have not had enough of for sure.

Fill in the Blank Friday

1. Winter is full of snow and rain, and hot peppermint coffee. Christmas and snuggling while watching movies and eating chocolate.

2. Summer is hot days and warm nights, iced coffee and staying up late looking at the stats. Spending as much time as possible outside because you know it will not last. Days spent by the pool or better yet by the beach with lots of fresh fruits.

3. If it were summer instead of winter right now I'd be drinking and iced coffee and lounging outside in some park people watching

4. My favorite thing to do in winter is Drinking coffee snuggling and watching movie marathons

5. My favorite thing to do in summer is visit Disneyland and spend the entire day and night outside

6. The ideal outfit for a sunny summer day is short shorts and loose long tank with some strappy sandals

7. The ideal outfit for a frigid winter day is skinny jeans, knee high boots, loose sweater, large pea coat, and a big warm scarf to keep me warm.

Staying Positive

I would have to say that staying positive is one of the hardest things for me to do. Sure I have moments, but for the most part I get stuck in the negative. This is something I've decided I MUST change. It just feels toxic.

I recently came home from visiting my family and instead of being grateful I got to spend as much time with them as I did, all I can think about is how I have no idea when I will see them again.

With that said I am going to be trying my hardest to think of the positive and give New York the chance it deserves instead of just missing my green Oregon.
